Dissonant Metropolis aims to capture the essence of modern life within our consumerist society, which is increasingly flooding with advertisements vying for our attention. My photographs seek to explore the ways in which these advertisements seep into and surround our daily regime, and the impact this has on our individual agency and autonomy.

I am documenting the visual clutter that surrounds us, the white noise that has become an omnipresent aspect of our environment. Yet, amidst this overwhelming landscape, I am drawn to the ways in which people navigate and organize themselves. I am intrigued by the subtle ways in which they interact with the surrounding environment, and how they often become subsumed within the larger consumerist machine.

My photographs aim to tell a larger story about the impact of consumerism over the course of our lives, highlighting the ways in which it can strip away one's sense of individuality and agency. I strive to capture the complexity and nuance of these interactions and to create a visual narrative that invites viewers to engage with these issues in a thought-provoking and meaningful way.

I hope to encourage viewers to reflect on their own relationship with consumerism and the impact it has on their lives, as well as to consider the larger societal implications of this pervasive cultural phenomenon.
